Odisha Govt Orders Mandatory Transfers of Revenue Employees by June 15
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has directed all district administrations to complete mandatory transfers of revenue employees who have served in the same office for more than three years by June 15, 2026.
The order, issued by Additional Chief Secretary Dr Arabinda K. Padhee, applies to ministerial and field-level staff, including Section Officers, Revenue Assistants, Inspectors, Supervisors, and Amins.
Officials said the move is aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency, transparency, and accountability.
The government flagged delays in pending transfers across districts and instructed Collectors to ensure strict compliance.
District administrations have been asked to submit action-taken reports once the process is complete.
The rotation policy is expected to reduce stagnation, bring fresh perspectives, and reinforce clean governance practices across Odisha’s revenue administration.
