Odisha Govt Clears 1,363 Junior Revenue Assistant Posts

The Odisha Government has sanctioned the recruitment of 1,363 Junior Revenue Assistant posts across 30 districts, strengthening grassroots administration and public service delivery.

The approval was granted in a meeting chaired by the Principal Secretary of the Finance Department.

Dr Aravind Padhee, Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue & Disaster Management Department, has directed district collectors to initiate the recruitment process in coordination with the Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC).

The vacancies will be filled through direct recruitment and will include reservation provisions for SC, ST, SEBC, women, persons with disabilities, ex-servicemen, and sportspersons.

Officials emphasised that the move will bridge manpower gaps in the revenue administration, improve efficiency in governance, and enhance citizen services across Odisha.

This recruitment drive reflects the state’s commitment to modernising its administrative machinery and ensuring equitable opportunities for diverse communities.
