Odisha Girl Writes Exams With Feet, Passes Class 10
Malkangiri: In a remarkable display of courage and determination, Laxmi Khimundu, a Class 10 student from Malkangiri district, has successfully cleared her matriculation examination despite being born with limited use of her hands.
Refusing the option of a scribe, Laxmi chose to write her papers independently using her feet, a skill she mastered through years of practice.
Her achievement has drawn widespread admiration, with District Education Officer Chittaranjan Panigrahi calling it a proud moment for the education system.
Laxmi’s success is being hailed as a symbol of resilience and inclusive education, inspiring students, teachers, and the wider community.
