Odisha CM Majhi Resolves Grievances, Approves Aid for Patients
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi chaired the 19th grievance hearing at the Unit‑2 cell in Bhubaneswar, joined by six senior ministers and top officials.
The CM emphasised that 96% of grievances from earlier state‑level sessions and 89% at district‑level hearings had been resolved by June, strengthening public trust in governance.
During the session, Majhi personally interacted with differently‑abled and critically ill citizens, directing immediate action on their concerns.
He sanctioned Rs 6.15 lakh in medical assistance for 12 patients under the single‑window system.
Over 700 petitions were submitted both online and offline, reflecting strong public participation.
The CM reiterated his government’s commitment to being “a government of the people,” prioritising citizen issues and ensuring responsive administration.
Ministers Suresh Pujari, Nityananda Gond, Bibhuti Bhushan Jena, Rabi Narayan Naik, Sampad Chandra Swain, and Gokulananda Mallik were present, alongside senior secretaries and officials.
