Odisha Cabinet Clears 13 Key Proposals Across Seven Departments

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, approved 13 major proposals during its 44th meeting, signalling a renewed push for rural development and welfare initiatives.

The Rural Development Department led the agenda with seven proposals aimed at strengthening village infrastructure and improving quality of life.

Other approvals included one proposal each from the Water Resources, Fisheries & Animal Resources, Cooperation, Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment, Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare, and Revenue departments.

Chief Secretary Anu Garg briefed the media, emphasising that the decisions reflect the government’s commitment to inclusive growth, timely policy execution, and sectoral empowerment.

The Cabinet’s focus on agriculture, fisheries, and rural transformation highlights its intent to balance economic development with social welfare.
