Bhubaneswar: In a decisive move against internal indiscipline, the Odisha unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has suspended two party leaders for allegedly engaging in anti-party activities and violating organisational discipline.
The suspended leaders have been identified as Sashikanta Lenka of Niali in Cuttack district and Barendra Mahalik, Vice President of the BJP Yuva Morcha in Baleshwar district.
According to an official release issued by Sudarshan Nayak, State Convenor of the BJP Disciplinary Committee, the action was taken following explicit instructions from Manmohan Samal, President of the BJP Odisha unit.
