Odisha BJP Chief Assures Resolution of Allowance Distribution Issues in 15 Days
Bhubaneswar: Odisha BJP president and MP Manmohan Samal has assured that the ongoing disruption in allowance distribution will be resolved within the next 15 days.
The delay, which has affected beneficiaries relying on online payments for the past two months, stemmed from the rollout of new software.
Those receiving cash allowances were not impacted.
Samal emphasised that both the central and state governments are coordinating to streamline the system.
The Centre has already initiated the development of new software to address technical glitches.
Pending payments will be released in a single instalment once the system stabilises.
Samal further assured that the new arrangement will prevent similar disruptions in the future, reaffirming the government’s commitment to resolving the issue swiftly.
