Sambalpur: A tragic incident unfolded at the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in Sambalpur when a newborn baby boy died, with the family alleging medical negligence.
According to the parents, Mahesh and Susmita Bagarti, their child’s condition deteriorated around 1 a.m. on April 2.
Despite repeated pleas, no doctor attended to the infant for nearly nine hours. The baby eventually succumbed, leaving the family devastated.
Relatives and locals expressed outrage, demanding accountability from hospital authorities.
The family accused doctors of failing to provide immediate care to a critically ill newborn.
