Naveen Patnaik Begins 7‑Day Delhi Visit

Naveen Patnaik, president of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and Leader of Opposition in the Odisha Legislative Assembly, is set to embark on a seven‑day visit to New Delhi beginning Tuesday.

Sources indicate that the trip is primarily for personal work. Patnaik will depart Bhubaneswar around 1 pm.

On the same day, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will also travel to Delhi.

Scheduled to leave at 3:30 pm, Majhi will attend a meeting with the Ministry of Jal Shakti to discuss water resources and related issues concerning the state.

The simultaneous visits of the two leaders have drawn attention, with observers noting the timing and possible implications for Odisha’s political and administrative landscape.
