Konark, Odisha: Nandakishore Yadav, Governor of Nagaland, visited the iconic Konark Sun Temple during his Odisha tour and expressed admiration for the monument’s architectural brilliance and rich cultural heritage.
The Governor’s visit came after he offered prayers at the revered Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri.
During his stop at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, he spent time exploring the temple complex and closely observing its intricate stone carvings, sculptures, and unique architectural features.
Officials and guides briefed the Governor about the historical significance of the 13th-century monument, its construction, and its enduring legacy as one of India’s finest examples of temple architecture.

Following the temple tour, the Governor concluded his visit and proceeded towards Puri.
