Nabarangpur Man Arrested for Wife’s Murder, Body Found in Toilet Tank

Nabarangpur, April 13: A shocking crime has come to light in Bargaon village under Raighar police limits, where police arrested Subash Gond for allegedly murdering his wife, Manei Gond, and concealing her body in a toilet septic tank.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Saturday following a heated argument between the couple.

Subash allegedly killed his wife in front of their children, kept the body inside the house until midnight, and later dumped it in the septic tank.

On Sunday, Subash attempted to mislead villagers by claiming that his wife had left home.

However, his inconsistent statements raised suspicion. The truth was revealed when their four‑year‑old son disclosed the incident to locals, who immediately informed the police.

Police recovered the body and arrested Subash late Sunday night.

The gruesome incident has left the community in shock, with villagers demanding strict punishment.

Authorities are now investigating the motive and recording witness statements to establish the sequence of events.
