Jindal Foundation Inaugurates Community Hospital and Consecrates Deveshwar Mahadev Temple in Deojhar, Badabil
Badabil: Jindal Foundation, the social arm of Jindal Steel, marked a significant milestone in Kendujhar district with the inauguration of the 25-bedded Jindal Aarogyam Community Hospital and the consecration of the Deveshwar Mahadev Temple at Deojhar, Badabil.
The twin initiatives were inaugurated by Mrs Shallu Jindal, Chairperson of Jindal Foundation, in the esteemed presence of Padmashri Tulasi Munda, alongside senior company officials, public representatives, and members of the local community.
The newly established hospital is equipped with modern medical infrastructure and will provide comprehensive healthcare services in general medicine, general surgery, gynaecology & obstetrics, and paediatrics.
Visiting consultants will extend specialised care in cardiology, orthopaedics, dentistry, gastroenterology, and ophthalmology.
The facility also houses a modern operation theatre, diagnostic services, and round-the-clock Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) ambulance services.
In line with the Foundation’s commitment to equitable healthcare, free consultation and treatment will be offered to underprivileged and socially vulnerable patients.
The consecration of the Deveshwar Mahadev Temple reflects the Foundation’s dedication to preserving India’s spiritual and cultural heritage.
The temple is envisioned as a vibrant centre for worship, festivals, and community bonding, fostering harmony and faith among surrounding villages.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs Shallu Jindal emphasised:
