Harichandan Pushes Fast‑Track for Odisha’s Road Projects
Bhubaneswar: Law, Works and Excise Minister Prithviraj Harichandan chaired a high‑level review meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan to assess progress on major infrastructure projects across Odisha.
Key projects under discussion included the elevated corridors at Raghunathpur–Trisulia and Studio Chhak–Nuagaon, the Kalpana Chhak flyover, new alignments for the Bhubaneswar Outer Ring Road, the Pipili–Konark road, and ongoing phases of the Daya West project.
Senior officials, including Works Department Principal Secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh, presented updates on land acquisition, DPR preparation, and strategies to overcome bottlenecks.
Minister Harichandan emphasised timely execution, calling these projects milestones for Odisha’s economic growth.
Once operational, the projects are expected to ease traffic congestion, improve connectivity to Puri, and strengthen infrastructure in the capital region.
