Cuttack/Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, a patient lost his life after the ambulance carrying him ran out of fuel on the Kathajodi River bridge.

The youth from Kendrapara, who had reportedly consumed poison, was being shifted from SCB Medical College in Cuttack to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar when the vehicle stalled midway.

Family members alleged gross negligence by the ambulance operator, claiming the delay directly led to the patient’s death.
