ECoR GM Reviews Safety & Infra at Titlagarh Section
East Coast Railway (ECoR) General Manager Parmeshwar Funkwal conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Arang Mahanadi–Titlagarh railway section, focusing on safety measures, passenger amenities, and infrastructure development.
The inspection covered key stations including Arang Mahanadi, Mahasamund, Khariar Road, Nawapara Road, Harishankar Road, and Kantabanji.
Funkwal emphasised the importance of precautionary steps to ensure safe and smooth train operations.
He reviewed progress on projects such as parking facilities, circulating areas, and landscaping, while assessing redevelopment works under the Amrit Station Scheme.
Stressing timely completion, Funkwal highlighted that upgraded infrastructure will significantly enhance passenger services and travel experience.
The inspection was attended by the Divisional Railway Manager of Sambalpur, Subash C. Chaudhary, along with other senior officials.
