Debagada Police Hosts Mobile Return Mela, Restores 62 Phones
Debagada District Police organised a Mobile Return Mela under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, successfully reuniting 62 lost and stolen mobile phones with their rightful owners.
The initiative, themed “Purna Milan” (Reunion), showcased the efficiency of the cyber police team in tracking devices through advanced digital monitoring.
Inspector Biplab Sahoo of the Cyber Police Station coordinated the event, while Superintendent of Police Kishore Chandra Munda attended as chief guest and personally handed over the recovered phones.
Senior officials including Additional SP Dhiraj Chapdar, SDPO Ramesh Mahana, and DSP Pabitra Kisan praised the cyber team’s dedicated efforts.
The program highlighted community trust in law enforcement and reinforced the importance of technology‑driven policing in safeguarding citizens’ property.
