Crocodile Attack in Kendrapada: Elderly Man Missing

Kendrapada, Odisha: Panic gripped residents of Rajkanika after a crocodile dragged an elderly man, Pareshwar Behera of Gangadhar Prasad Dia village, into the river while he was boarding a boat to Ayata Bazaar.

Eyewitnesses said the reptile suddenly attacked, pulling him underwater.

Fire service personnel rushed to the spot and launched a search operation, which was still underway at the time of reporting.

The incident has heightened fear among locals, who are increasingly concerned about the growing crocodile presence in the river ecosystem.
