CM Majhi Begins Visit to Flood‑Hit Jajpur, Bhadrak

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi embarked on a visit to the flood‑affected districts of  Jajpur and Bhadrak to personally assess the situation and review ongoing relief operations.

The CM interacted with officials, met affected residents, and oversaw rehabilitation measures.

In a bid to strengthen the state’s response, the government has cancelled all leave for employees and directed those already on leave to return to duty immediately.

To ensure effective coordination, three IAS officers have been deployed to the worst‑hit districts: Sudhansu Samal in Bhadrak, K Sudarshan Chakraborty in Baleshwar, and P Anwesha Reddy in Jajpur.

“Your safety is the government’s topmost priority. The government is taking swift and coordinated steps for the safety, rescue, relief, and rehabilitation of those affected by the floods. All government systems in the affected areas remain alert and active, providing people with the necessary assistance. The government’s efforts continue unabated to deliver relief and essential aid to every affected family nearby, along with restoring normalcy.,” CM Majhi posted on X.
