CBSE Opens Class 12 Re‑evaluation Portal, Deadline June 6
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has activated its online portal for Class 12 students seeking verification and re‑evaluation of answer sheets.
The facility will remain open from June 2 to June 6, 2026, with no provision for late submissions.
Students can apply for verification of scanned answer books to address issues such as missing pages, blurred scans, incorrect uploads, or errors in marking schemes. Additionally, re‑evaluation is available for specific questions across subjects.
The fee structure includes Rs 100 per answer book for verification and Rs 25 per question for re‑evaluation. Payments must be made online via UPI, debit/credit cards, or net banking. Each student is permitted only one application per service, and once payment is completed, applications cannot be modified.
This initiative follows Stage‑1, where students were allowed to obtain scanned copies of evaluated answer sheets. Stage‑2 now enables corrections, verification, and re‑evaluation, reinforcing CBSE’s commitment to transparency and fairness in the evaluation process.
Outcomes of the verification and re‑evaluation will be communicated to students after review.
