CBI Issues Non-Bailable Warrants Against Eight Brokers in Odisha SI Recruitment Scam

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has intensified its probe into the Odisha Police Sub-Inspector recruitment scam by issuing non-bailable warrants (NBWs) against eight brokers.

These individuals failed to appear despite repeated notices, prompting the agency to take strict action.

Among the accused, three brokers hail from Bihar and are alleged to have maintained close links with Odisha administrative officials to manipulate the recruitment process.

The eight named brokers are: Anwesh Nayak, Ashish Kumar, Balaram Pradhan, Dharmendra Pradhan, Gobinda Tripathy, Gopal Krishna Das, Gopi Raman, and Sanjay Kumar.

The CBI’s move underscores its determination to bring all culprits to justice and restore credibility to the recruitment system.

The crackdown is expected to expose deeper networks of corruption and ensure accountability in the state’s police recruitment process.
