BJP Eyes Ganjam Boost With Arukha’s Possible Entry
Bhubaneswar: Political circles in Odisha are abuzz with speculation that former minister Bikram Keshari Arukha may soon join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
State BJP president Manmohan Samal has indicated that the party’s doors remain open to leaders willing to strengthen its organisation, particularly in Ganjam district.
Minister Gokulananda Mallick echoed this sentiment, noting that Arukha’s entry could further consolidate BJP’s dominance in the region, where it already holds 11 of 13 seats.
Arukha himself has remained silent on the matter, fueling curiosity about his next political move.
Observers see this as part of BJP’s broader strategy to expand its base in Odisha ahead of the upcoming elections.
