Anugola Bags 2nd Place Among 130 Cities in Clean Air Survey

Anugola Municipality has once again brought pride to Odisha by securing the 2nd prize in Category‑III of the National Swachh Vayu Sarvekshan, competing among 130 cities across India.

The award was presented in New Delhi, where the Collector and District Magistrate of Anugola, along with the Executive Officer of the Municipality, received the honour.

This marks Anugola’s third national‑level recognition, following two earlier third‑place awards.

Officials credited the achievement to the sustained efforts of municipal staff, sanitation workers, and community stakeholders in improving air quality, sanitation standards, and public health.

The recognition underscores Anugola’s growing reputation as a model for urban environmental management in Odisha.
