World Athletics Continental Tour Silver Meet Concludes at Kalinga Stadium
Bhubaneswar witnessed a spectacular sporting event as the World Athletics Continental Tour Silver Level Meet concluded at the iconic Kalinga Stadium.
The meet brought together 187 athletes from 27 countries, including 143 competitors from 12 Asian nations and 88 Indian athletes.
The competition featured 18 events, showcasing thrilling performances and international camaraderie.
Notably, Sri Lanka fielded 24 athletes, South Africa 17, and Brazil 11, reflecting the global appeal of the meet.
Odisha’s pride was evident with six local athletes representing the state.
The event was inaugurated by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, underscoring Odisha’s growing reputation as a hub for international athletics.
With intense contests and diverse participation, the meet reinforced Bhubaneswar’s standing as a premier destination for global sporting events.
