Vice President Radhakrishnan’s Odisha Visit on Parakram Divas: Full Schedule & Events
Bhubaneswar: Vice President of India, C.P. Radhakrishnan, will arrive in Odisha on January 23, 2026, to participate in Parakram Divas celebrations marking the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
The Vice President will land at Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar, at 8:50 AM aboard a special Indian Air Force aircraft.
From there, he will proceed to Cuttack, reaching the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Birthplace Museum by 9:35 AM.
He is scheduled to tour the museum and attend commemorative events honouring Netaji’s legacy.
As part of the program, Radhakrishnan will inaugurate the newly constructed District Cultural Building near the museum complex.
Following the Cuttack engagements, he will return to Bhubaneswar for lunch at Lok Bhawan (Raj Bhavan). Later in the afternoon, at 2:00 PM, he will depart for Kolkata.
Preparations for the high-profile visit are underway, with a state-level meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Anu Garg at Lok Seva Bhawan.
Senior officials, including departmental secretaries and top police officers, have been tasked with ensuring smooth arrangements and tight security.
The visit underscores Odisha’s deep connection to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and highlights the state’s role in commemorating his enduring contribution to India’s freedom struggle.
