TPCODL Bags AIDA Gold Award at EDICON 2026 for Rural Revenue Recovery
New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) has been honoured with the prestigious AIDA Gold Award at the maiden EDICON 2026 conference in New Delhi.
The recognition was conferred by Shri Manohar Lal, Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, for TPCODL’s outstanding achievement in Improved Revenue Recovery in a Rural Area.
The award highlights TPCODL’s commitment to strengthening rural power distribution through operational discipline, adoption of modern technology, and community‑centric reforms.
CEO Arvind Singh expressed pride in the achievement, noting that the recognition underscores the company’s dedication to delivering reliable and sustainable electricity services across rural Central Odisha.
EDICON 2026, organised by the All‑India Discoms Association (AIDA), saw participation from 29 DISCOMs nationwide, with 78 nominations evaluated by an independent jury.
The conference also featured discussions on DISCOM viability, smart meter data utilisation, renewable energy integration, and electricity supply quality.
This accolade reinforces TPCODL’s role in enabling efficient, reliable, and sustainable electricity services for rural communities, contributing to inclusive growth and development.
