Subhadra Yojana’s Fifth Installment to Be Disbursed on Rakhi Purnima
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has announced that the fifth instalment of the Subhadra Yojana will be credited to beneficiaries’ accounts on August 28, 2026, coinciding with Rakhi Purnima.
Deputy Chief Minister Prabhati Parida confirmed that preparations are underway for a state‑level ceremony in Nayagarh, marking the official distribution.
Over one crore women beneficiaries across the state are expected to receive funds under this phase.
Importantly, women who were eligible but missed earlier instalments will now receive all five instalments together, ensuring no one is left behind.
Applications submitted by August 28 will be included in this round of payments, making Rakhi Purnima a significant occasion for women’s empowerment in Odisha.
