Subhadra Yojana 5th Instalment to Be Released on August 28
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will disburse the fifth instalment of the Subhadra Yojana on August 28, 2026, coinciding with Rakhi Purnima.
Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced the date after chairing a review meeting in Nayagada.
A total of 1,03,26,162 women beneficiaries have been identified to receive financial assistance under the scheme.
More than Rs 5,160 crore will be transferred directly into their bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.
Officials from the Women & Child Development Department, OCAC, and banks are coordinating logistics to ensure smooth distribution.
The Deputy CM instructed departments to strengthen banking arrangements, complete DBT processes within the timeline, and ensure beneficiaries face no inconvenience.
The Subhadra Yojana, launched to empower women across Odisha, continues to provide crucial financial support, with this instalment expected to benefit millions statewide.
