Shreyas Iyer Admitted to ICU After Rib Injury During Australia ODI

Oct 27: Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a Sydney hospital following a serious injury sustained during the third One Day International (ODI) against Australia.

The incident occurred while Iyer was attempting a catch near the backward point. In a valiant effort to dismiss Australian wicketkeeper Alex Carey, Iyer lost his balance and fell awkwardly, injuring his left rib cage.

Although he initially returned to the dressing room, his condition reportedly worsened, with increasing pain and difficulty breathing.
