Rs 40 Lakh Seized at Kesinga Railway Station, Youth Detained

Titlagarh (Odisha): Government Railway Police (GRP) at Kesinga Railway Station seized Rs 40 lakh in cash from a youth identified as Prabhat Samuel.

He was intercepted while attempting to board a train with the money.

During interrogation, Samuel revealed that the cash was handed over to him by Ajay Soni, a businessman from Kesinga, and that he was en route to Raipur.

GRP officials have detained him for questioning to ascertain the source and intended use of the money.

Authorities are investigating whether the seized amount is linked to illegal activities.

The case underscores the vigilance of railway police in monitoring suspicious financial movements across Odisha’s railway network.
