Ratna Bhandar Inventory Set for August 31–September 1
The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has announced that the sacred Ratna Bhandar of Srimandir will be inventoried on August 31 and September 1, 2026.
The decision was taken to ensure transparency and security while maintaining the sanctity of rituals.
Officials confirmed that the exercise will strictly follow the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) approved by the Odisha government.
SJTA emphasised that daily worship and darshan will continue uninterrupted during the process.
Servitors and devotees have been urged to extend full cooperation to ensure smooth execution.
Temple authorities expressed confidence that the counting will be completed successfully, reinforcing both tradition and accountability in the management of the shrine’s treasures.
