President Murmu set for packed schedule in Odisha, starting with Rath Yatra

Bhubaneswar, (Orissa Today), July 6: President Droupadi Murmu will embark on her four-day visit to Odisha starting Saturday, with a packed itinerary that includes attending several significant events, including the Puri Rath Yatra.
According to official sources, the President will arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar via a special Indian Air Force aircraft in the evening. Upon arrival, she will participate in an event commemorating the 96th death anniversary of Utkalamani Pandit Gopabandhu Das in the capital city.
On Sunday, President Murmu is scheduled to join the world-renowned Rath Yatra procession of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra in the sacred town of Puri.
On July 8, her agenda includes visits to the Udayagiri Caves and interactions with students at Bibhuti Kanungo College of Art and Crafts and Utkal University of Culture. Additionally, she will inaugurate the Divine Retreat Centre of Brahma Kumaris in Haridamada village near Bhubaneswar and launch the ‘Lifestyle for Sustainability’ campaign.
The President will also grace the 13th Graduation Ceremony of the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) in Bhubaneswar on July 9.
Stringent security measures have been put in place at all venues where the President will attend events during her visit.
