Orissa High Court to Begin Summer Vacation from May 25

Bhubaneswar, May 22: The Orissa High Court will commence its annual summer vacation from May 25, 2026, with the last working day scheduled for May 23.

The Court will reopen on June 22, 2026.

To ensure urgent matters are addressed during the recess, the High Court has arranged vacation benches that will sit on eight designated days.

Hearings will be conducted virtually between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.

The schedule includes Division Benches and Single Benches, comprising different judges on specific dates:

  • May 26 & 29: Justice KR Mohapatra and Justice MS Sahu.
  • June 2 & 5: Justice MS Sahu and Justice MS Raman.
  • June 9: Justice Aditya Kumar Mohapatra and Justice V. Narasingha.
  • June 12, 17 & 19: Justice Sabitri Rath and Justice V. Narasingha.

These arrangements aim to ensure that urgent cases are not delayed during the vacation period, maintaining judicial accessibility for litigants.
