Odisha Vigilance Arrests Malkangiri AEE in DA Case
Odisha Vigilance officials have arrested Shishir Kumar Dash, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of Mathili Block, DRDA Malkangiri, on charges of possessing disproportionate assets beyond his known sources of income.
During simultaneous searches, authorities unearthed:
- Two multi‑storeyed buildings covering 9,300 sq ft
- Six high‑value plots
- Bank deposits worth ₹82 lakh
- One four‑wheeler and other movable/immovable assets
A case has been registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act (Berhampur Vigilance PS Case No. 11/2026).
Dash will be produced before the Court of the Special Vigilance Judge, Berhampur, while further investigation continues.
