Odisha Police Intensifies Night Patrols in Bhubaneswar & Puri

Bhubaneswar/Puri: Commissionerate Police has intensified night patrolling and launched a strict crackdown on drunk driving across Bhubaneswar and Puri.

Multiple checkpoints were set up in the capital city to monitor traffic violations, detect intoxicated drivers, and track suspicious movements.

In Puri, Superintendent of Police Prateek Singh supervised coordinated patrols covering tourist hubs, beachside roads, isolated lanes, and sensitive zones.

Officers also engaged with residents and commuters, urging them to avoid drunk driving, remain vigilant, and report suspicious activity.

Authorities confirmed that similar coordinated security drives will continue in Odisha’s urban centres to deter crime and boost public confidence.
