Odisha AEDP Admissions 2026–27: Apply Online via SAMS Portal
The Higher Education Department of Odisha has announced the commencement of admissions for the Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programme (AEDP) for the academic session 2026–27.
Applications are now open on the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal and will remain available until June 10, 2026.
The AEDP, aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, integrates academic learning with practical industry exposure.
Students who have completed their +2 education can apply for undergraduate courses across 11 disciplines, including Commerce, Home Science, Economics, History, English, Zoology, Mathematics, Library Science, Chemistry, Geology, and Botany.
A distinctive feature of the programme is the one‑year apprenticeship in the third year, where students will receive a stipend while gaining hands‑on industry experience.
This initiative aims to bridge classroom learning with workplace skills, enhancing employability and preparing graduates for diverse career opportunities.
Officials highlighted that the AEDP is designed to equip students with both academic knowledge and practical expertise, ensuring they are workforce‑ready upon graduation.
