NIC Odisha’s DEPMOS Project Wins Prestigious Digital Award
NIC Odisha has been honored with the “Digital Initiative for Ensuring Rural Connectivity and Digital Services Award” at the 6th Digital Transformation Summit and Awards in New Delhi.
The recognition comes for its flagship DEPMOS project (Directorate of Export Promotion and Marketing Online Services), developed for the MSME Department of the Odisha government.
The DEPMOS platform has revolutionized service delivery for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by digitizing processes such as registration, rate contract management, and inspections.
By streamlining workflows, the initiative has significantly reduced turnaround times, enhanced transparency in procurement, and empowered rural and small-scale enterprises with easier access to government support.
Officials noted that the award underscores Odisha’s commitment to leveraging technology for inclusive growth and highlights NIC Odisha’s role in driving digital transformation across governance and enterprise support.
