Mayurbhanj Watchman Carries Snake to Hospital After Bite
In a rare incident in Udala, Mayurbhanj, a watchman displayed remarkable presence of mind after being bitten twice by a snake.
Mochiram Tudu, on duty at the Lift Irrigation office in Ward No. 10, was attacked around 8 pm. Instead of panicking, he caught and killed the snake, placed it in a polythene bag, and cycled to the hospital carrying it.
His decision was driven by uncertainty over the snake’s species, ensuring doctors could identify it for accurate treatment.
