The scheme, designed to support women observing the holy month of Kartika Habisha in Puri, will run from October 26 to November 24, 2026.
Under the initiative, eligible women will receive free lodging, daily Mahaprasad, and seamless darshan at Srimandir, along with volunteer assistance for rituals.
Accommodation will be arranged at Brundabati Niwas, Municipality Kalyan Mandap, and the Railway Tourist Complex.
Eligibility criteria specify that widowed women up to 70 years and married women between 50–70 years may apply, provided they are physically and mentally fit.
Applicants from all 30 districts of Odisha are welcome, with preference given to fresh registrants over past beneficiaries.
Authorities have clarified that these special arrangements will apply only to registered Habishyalis, while local elderly women will receive general facilitation.
