CM Majhi Leads Grand Celebration of Swami Laxmanananda’s Legacy
The birth centenary of revered spiritual leader Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati was celebrated today at Gurujang in Talcher with great devotion and grandeur.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Speaker Surama Padhi, several ministers, MLAs, and MPs attended the event, marking it as a significant occasion in the state’s cultural calendar.
Over 20,000 devotees, saints, and followers gathered to honour Swami Laxmanananda’s legacy, reflecting his enduring influence on Odisha’s spiritual and social life.
The Chief Minister arrived by helicopter, inaugurated the centenary celebrations, and addressed the gathering, highlighting the Swami’s contributions to education, social reform, and spiritual awakening.
Authorities ensured tight security and smooth traffic management due to the large turnout and presence of dignitaries.
