CM Majhi Launches Water, Healthcare & Transport Projects in Sambalpur

Sambalpur, Odisha: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has unveiled a series of transformative development projects during his two‑day visit to Sambalpur district, aimed at strengthening infrastructure and improving the quality of life for residents.

Among the key initiatives rolled out were a 24×7 drinking water supply system, a new trauma care building to bolster emergency healthcare, and the launch of eco‑friendly e‑bus services to promote sustainable public transport.

Speaking at the inauguration, CM Majhi emphasised his government’s vision to make Sambalpur a model district, balancing infrastructure growth with social progress.

He highlighted that these projects are designed to deliver long‑term benefits, ensuring reliable water access, faster medical response, and greener mobility options.

The initiatives are part of the state’s broader strategy to accelerate development in western Odisha, positioning Sambalpur as a hub of modern facilities while preserving its cultural and regional significance.
