BJP to Fill Odisha Vacancies Before June 12

Bhubaneswar, April 28: BJP State President Manmohan Samal has announced that all pending vacancies in Odisha Corporations and Boards will be filled before June 12, 2026, coinciding with the completion of two years of the BJP government in the state.

Samal highlighted that the appointment of advocates in 29 districts has already been completed, with the remaining posts in Khordha district to be finalised shortly.

He further stated that decisions regarding Cabinet expansion will be taken after consultation with the central leadership.

Emphasising the government’s performance, Samal claimed that nearly 80% of the BJP’s election manifesto promises have already been fulfilled, with the rest expected to be completed before the two‑year milestone.

He also noted that Odisha BJP workers were actively deployed in 36 Assembly constituencies during the recent elections in Assam and West Bengal, underscoring the party’s wider organisational role.
