Bhubaneswar: Knife Attack Leaves Two Injured, Probe Underway

A late-night knife attack near Old Station Bazar Square under Laxmisagar police station limits left two people injured on Monday.

According to reports, Uday Kiran, a betel shop owner, was attacked while closing his shop and heading home.

A woman who rushed to his aid was also assaulted.

Both sustained severe head injuries and were immediately shifted to Capital Hospital for treatment.

Police from Laxmisagar station reached the spot and have begun investigating the incident.

CCTV footage from the area is being reviewed to identify the assailants. The probe is ongoing.
