In Odisha alone, over 34.64 lakh farmers received Rs 692.86 crore under the scheme.

She also cautioned farmers about possible El Niño impacts, urging adoption of short-duration crop varieties and cultivation of pulses and oilseeds, assuring procurement at Minimum Support Price (MSP).

Commissioner-cum-Secretary Sachin Ramchandra Jadhav encouraged farmer registration, while H&UD Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra, Director Shubham Saxena, and senior officials attended the event.
