198th RPSA in Bhubaneswar Resolves Veterans’ Pension Issues

Bhubaneswar, Odisha: The 198th Raksha Pension Samadhan Aayojan (RPSA) was held at Rail Sadan, East Coast Railway Headquarters, to address pension grievances of Armed Forces veterans.

Organised jointly by the Indian Army and the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA), the event saw participation from senior military leadership including Lt. Gen. Anindya Sengupta (GOC‑in‑C, Central Command) and Lt. Gen. HS Vandra (GOC, Madhya Bharat Area).

During the program, several complex pension cases were resolved on the spot, with emphasis on expediting long‑pending matters, simplifying procedures, and strengthening inter‑agency coordination.

The initiative reaffirmed the government’s commitment to veterans’ welfare, ensuring timely and accurate pension disbursement.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, highlighting the continued focus on safeguarding the interests of retired service personnel.
