Youth-Driven Devotion: Bol Bam Seva Samiti Distributes Prasad to Thousands During Sawan Mondays

Barbil(OT webdesk) — The spiritual fervour of the sacred Sawan month came alive at OMC Chowk in Barbil, as the Bol Bam Seva Samiti, a dedicated youth group from Station Road, organised weekly Prasad distribution every Monday to honour Lord Shiva’s devotees.

After offering their prayers to the revered Shivling at the local temple, around 1,000 devotees received sanctified Prasad each Monday.

The event has not only become a pillar of community faith but also a symbol of youth-led spiritual service.

The initiative was powered by the committed efforts of the Samiti’s active members — Manish Chandra, Rahul Jaiswal, Durgesh Ray, Surendra Prajapati, Harshpreet Sharma, Deepak Chauhan, Ashish Agarwal, Ritesh Sah, and Kunal Sharma — whose collective dedication in body, mind, and spirit made the endeavour a resounding success.

Their purpose goes beyond distribution; it’s about preserving and celebrating the cultural and religious traditions of Sawan, while cultivating a spirit of unity and devotion in the heart of Barbil.

Har Har Mahadev echoes through Barbil once again, carried by the youth’s unwavering devotion.
