In a major step toward strengthening long-distance rail connectivity, the Ministry of Railways has approved the upgrade of Train No. 19021/19022 Udhna–Brahmapur–Udhna Amrit Bharat Express from its current tri-weekly schedule to daily operations.

The decision is expected to benefit thousands of passengers travelling between Odisha and Gujarat, offering more frequent and reliable options for work, family visits, and business trips.

Known for its affordable fares and modern amenities, the Amrit Bharat Express has already become a popular choice since its inception.

Officials from the East Coast Railway zone highlighted that the increased frequency will reduce waiting times and enhance economic ties between the two states by facilitating the smoother movement of people and goods.

The new daily service is slated to begin soon, with official notifications on timings and bookings to be issued by Indian Railways. Passengers are advised to check the official website or app for updates.

This move underscores the Railway Ministry’s commitment to expanding India’s railway network, ensuring better accessibility and efficiency for commuters nationwide.
