Two-Day Animal Health Check-Up and Vaccination Camp Held Successfully in Barbil

Barbil (Rasanand Behera) Mar 24: A significant initiative aimed at promoting animal welfare and health was undertaken by the Animal Care Foundation, Barbil, through the successful organization of a *two-day Animal Health Check-Up and Vaccination Camp*. This event marked a remarkable effort in addressing the healthcare needs of domestic and farm animals in the region.

The camp was inaugurated on March 23 by Laxman Mahanta, Chairman, Barbil Municipality, and on March 24 by Ramesh Chandra Nayak, Executive Officer, Barbil Municipality. Both leaders praised the foundation’s dedication to animal welfare and its impactful services.

The camp brought together a team of experienced veterinary professionals, including:

Services Offered:
The camp provided a variety of essential services such as health check-ups, vaccination, deworming, and distribution of vital supplements like vitamins and calcium. On March 23, services were extended to 18 cows, 23 goats, 60 dogs, 5 cats, and 17 hens/cocks. On March 24, the camp attended to 15 cows, 18 goats, 40 dogs, 5 cats, 9 hens/cocks, and 4 rabbits.

Coordination and Support:
The event was coordinated by Rajkishor Pati, Chairman of the Animal Care Foundation, Barbil. It also received support from the Executive Officer, Sanitary Inspector of Barbil Municipality, and various corporate houses in the region.
