Tiger Shroff Firing Case: Another Accused Arrested in Major Breakthrough
Mumbai: Police investigating the firing incident linked to Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff have achieved a significant breakthrough with the arrest of another accused from Haryana.
The latest suspect, identified as Sameer, was apprehended from Sonipat and is believed to have played a crucial role in coordinating between the alleged mastermind and the shooters involved in the attack.
According to investigators, Sameer allegedly acted as an intermediary connecting the three shooters with the alleged mastermind, Anil Pandit. With this arrest, the number of accused held in connection with the case has risen to six.
Earlier, police had arrested three alleged shooters, identified as Phool Singh, Rehan, and Hritik Kumar, from Rajasthan’s Kota railway station.
Another suspect was also detained near the Maharashtra-Gujarat border as part of the ongoing investigation.
The investigation revealed that the accused allegedly used the Zangi communication app to remain in contact, as the platform reportedly does not require identity verification.
Police also discovered that weapons were not handed directly to the shooters but were allegedly collected from a pre-designated location.
Investigators suspect that Anil Pandit, who has been linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed responsibility for the attack through social media posts and audio messages.
Authorities are examining the authenticity of these claims and pursuing further leads.
Police continue to probe the motive behind the incident and are working to identify any additional individuals who may have been involved. The case remains under active investigation.
