Sudarsan Pattnaik Crafts 750 Lotus Sand Sculpture to Celebrate PM Modi’s 75th Birthday

PURI,  — In a stunning blend of artistry and patriotism, Padma Shri awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik unveiled a majestic sand sculpture at Puri Beach to honour Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday.

The installation, revealed on September 16, featured an awe-inspiring arrangement of 750 intricately sculpted lotus flowers, symbolising purity, resilience, and India’s transformative journey.

The artwork bore the message “Bharat ki Udaan Modi ji Ke Saath”, reflecting Pattnaik’s admiration for PM Modi’s leadership and India’s global ascent. Sharing the tribute on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Pattnaik wrote:

“On the occasion of the 75th birthday of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, my sand art installation with 750 lotus flowers with message ‘Bharat ki Udaan Modi ji Ke Saath’ at Puri Beach in Odisha.”

Speaking to the media, Pattnaik emphasised India’s rapid development and growing international stature, stating, “The whole world is watching how India is progressing and how the country is developing.

We salute Prime Minister Modi for his work in taking the country forward.”

The lotus, India’s national flower, was chosen to represent the spirit of growth and transformation. The tribute has drawn admiration from locals and tourists alike, adding a cultural and artistic dimension to the nationwide celebrations.
