Subhadra Yojana 5th Instalment Set for Rakhi Purnima

Bhubaneswar: Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida chaired a high‑level review meeting at Lok Seva Bhavan to assess preparations for the fifth instalment of the Subhadra Yojana.

District authorities have been directed to complete verification and disposal of field enquiry applications by July 25, 2026, with daily progress monitoring.

Out of 1.15 crore registered applications, scrutiny has identified 1.02 crore women beneficiaries.

After verification, 5,277 cases were excluded due to deaths, finalising the list at 1,01,99,119 eligible women.

The meeting focused on technical readiness, including Direct Benefit Transfer activation, biometric e‑KYC, NPCI mapping, payment file preparation, and bank coordination.

So far, the scheme has transferred Rs 20,648.63 crore across four instalments, benefiting over 1 crore women and resolving 2.68 lakh grievances.

Parida emphasised transparency, timeliness, and error‑free execution, urging strong coordination among departments, banks, and technical agencies.

The 5th instalment will be disbursed on Rakhi Purnima, marking another milestone in Odisha’s flagship women‑centric welfare programme.
